  1. Open the popup.
  2. Click the language priority button.
  3. Add one or more languages.
  4. Put your main language first.
  5. Click Save language priority.

Common examples:

  • Simplified Chinese, English
  • Japanese, English
  • Espaรฑol, English

๐Ÿ”„ Translate the current page

As soon as you open the language priority popup, translation starts automatically for the active tab.

  • The popup shows live translation status.
  • The progress bar updates while text is extracted, translated, and applied.
  • If translation fails, you can use the retry button.

๐Ÿ”€ Switch translation services

The popup currently supports two translation providers:

  • Google Translate
  • SelfReason

When you switch providers, the popup saves that choice and immediately restarts translation with the newly selected service.

๐Ÿง  Translation providers

Google Translate

Google Translate is the default provider.

  • It uses a client-side public endpoint.
  • It translates progressively in chunks, so translated text can appear earlier.
  • It is the best general default for fast page translation.

SelfReason

SelfReason translation uses HuBrowser's special AI service.

  • It requires PRO membership in the user-facing product.
